This Palm Springs Home Hasn't Been Redecorated Since 1969 and It Looks Like Actual Heaven

Please feast your eyes upon a Palm Springs home last redecorated the year Richard Burton bought Liz Taylor a 69-carat diamond ring. It is truly wonderful.

A Zillow post picked up by the Today show, via LAist, explains that the three-bedroom was built in 1969 and done all-out in the style of the time. It’s passed through just two sets of hands—the pair who originally decorated, and a couple who decided to keep it as-is. Hence this stunner.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices/California Properties listing agent Lucio Bernal explained that: “It’s in incredible condition,” and “To re-create that stuff today would be pretty expensive.”

This room looks out onto the pool. (Of course there’s a pool. This is Palm Springs.)

A wood-paneled den comes standard, of course.

Back to the hot-pink master suite. Look at this TV stand, please. Picture watching RuPaul’s Drag Race within that TV stand, inside that bedroom.

Can you imagine having the confidence to surround your bathtub with wall-to-wall carpet? I cannot.
