Look for folks who’re slightly wilted, who decided to pause some workaday activity to buy an ice cream as a cooling-off method.

Girls in bathing suits are perennially popular.

But not as popular as children.

The more smeared their faces, the better.

Sad children are also a hit.

If you can get a perfectly dressed woman and a baby, so much the better.

Also good: animals.

But the most important thing is to get the goofiest shot possible. Which is easy, because nothing looks dumber than eating ice cream.
